StraightBid LLC ("StraightBid," "we," "us," or "our") operates the StraightBid platform at getstraightbid.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). If you set up your company profile, we also collect your company name, phone number, email, and website.
We store the proposals you create, which may include customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, project descriptions, and dollar amounts. This information is entered by you and is used solely to provide the Service.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe. StraightBid does not store your credit card number. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account.
We collect basic usage information such as when proposals are created, sent, viewed, and signed. This helps us provide features like automated follow-up reminders and proposal status tracking.
If you upload a company logo, we store it as part of your branding settings to include in proposals and invoices.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data handling practices. We have agreements with each to process data only as directed.
When you enter customer information into StraightBid to create proposals, you are the data controller for that information. We process it on your behalf solely to provide the Service. We do not contact your customers for any purpose other than delivering proposals and invoices you initiate through the platform.
We retain your account data and proposals as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes. Deleted proposals are soft-deleted for 30 days (recoverable) before permanent deletion.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and row-level security on our database. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

StraightBid uses cookies and browser storage solely to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
